Applesauce

Friday, we made applesauce!! Thank you for all of the apples!! We had plenty for all activities! We even have some left to use for snack! After our apples were peeled and sliced and in the crockpot... we peeled a few more and we had an "apple picnic" as the kiddos called it! We also couldn't have apple week without reading "Ten Apples Up On Top" I hope you had a chance to do "Ring Around the Apple Tree" with your kiddo!

Flowers 💐

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

Winter

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!
