Picture Days and Pumpkins

Last week was pumpkin week and we had Picture Days on Tuesday and Friday. Our VIP shared his favorite books with us! We read my favorite pumpkin book on Thursday "The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin" and made paper bag pumpkins. We had a wonderful week!

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

Winter

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!
