Winter

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

Dinosaur Week 🦕

We had a great week learning and playing with dinosaurs! We painted with them and used them to stomp on playdough. We played with kinetic sand. We experimented with fizzy dino eggs that were made out of baking soda and water... we made them hatch with vinegar. We made a volcano erupt on Friday! Our VIP shared her poster, some of her favorite things, and her mommy joined us for lunch! We are happy to have those snow days behind us and back to our routine! Next week is Seuss Week!

Apples 🍏

We had an apple taste test and as you can see from our chart green won by a lot! We have some green apple fans! We read "Apple Trouble" And for table time today we played with our "apple" play dough and some of the kiddos wanted to paint with apples again.
