Seuss Week

I'm sorry for being so far behind! Seuss week was so much fun! Thank you for helping your child dress for the day! Monday was "Green Eggs and Ham" day we ate green eggs and ham for breakfast and made green eggs and ham art. Tuesday was "Cat in the Hat" day. We designed a new hat we thought the cat might like and tried our hand at balancing plates and cups. "It's fun to have fun, but you have to know how" I think our kiddos got the fun thing down! Wednesday was "Wacky Wednesday" we did our artwork under the table! Thursday was "Foot Book" Day we wore silly socks and painted with our feet! Friday was "I Am Not Going to Get Up Today" day! We got to wear our jammies to school! Our VIP had special visitors for lunch!

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

Winter

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!
