Earth Day 🌎

We learned what it means to recycle, reuse, and reduce. We talked about ways we can help our Earth and did some fun art activities. Monday we dissolved biodegradable packing peanuts. On Friday the older kiddos helped clean up the trash around preschool. Our VIP shared his poster, favorite book, and daddy for a special visit! 

I had a rough couple days of a stomach flu... thank goodness for Miss Vicki and Miss Chelsea for holding down the fort for me! I appreciate you!!

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!
