Apples 🍎

It's apple week! We will be singing one of my favorite action songs this week "Ring Around the Apple Tree." Ask your kiddo to teach you! It's really easy: Ring Around the Apple Tree all full of apples... shake it, shake it  they all fall down!!
We read "Fall Apples Crisp and Juicy" and painted with red, yellow, and green paint. We also added apple trees to our classroom! This is a great counting and sorting activity plus it's fun for imagination play, too!

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

Last week we talked about winter. We made it snow in a jar, played in shaving cream "snow" and painted with puffy snow paint. Our VIP shared his poster, his favorite books, and had a special lunch guest!
