Fire Safety

This week we are learning about Fire Safety. We read "I'm Brave" and sang "Hurry Hurry Drive the Firetruck" for table time we used finger paint on foil.

Flowers 💐

This week we had so much fun learning about seeds and flowers. Some of my favorite books from this week were The Tiny Seed   and Grow Flower, Grow!  We painted with watercolor paint and we made flowers with fork prints! We planted Marigolds, Zinnias, and Sunflower seeds! We already have a sprout! Our VIP shared his poster and some of his favorite things!

First Week

We read "Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes" We love Pete the Cat! The kiddos helped me sing the singing parts. We played outside, and for Table Time we explored Finger Paint. We also had plenty of time for classroom play and motor room too!

We are Thankful

This week we talked about being Thankful. We read "Thankful Every Day" "Thanks For Thanksgiving" "Thankful" "Bear Says Thanks" and "If You're Thankful and You Know It" We are learning our Thanksgiving songs "The Cranberry Rolled Away" and "Alberqurque Turkey." For art time we painted with paintbrushes and feathers. We said what we were thankful for and painted a thankful picture using q-tips. We painted with watercolor paint and Friday we had fun with stickers and painted with brushes again. Our VIP had a special lunch visitor, shared her poster, and some of her favorite things. We celebrated a special 5th Birthday on Friday!  REMINDER-PLA will be closed November 23-27 for our Thanksgiving break.
