Insects 🐞🐝🦟🦋

We had so much fun learning about bugs. We are watching ladybug larvae turn into ladybugs, and caterpillars turn to butterflies! The kiddos loved cutting pictures out of our Missouri Conservation magazines so much we tried to find insects to cut out.... but there are not many bugs in there. We painted with red and black and yellow and black to make ladybug art and bee art. We did a fun Science experiment using cheetos! We talked about how bees help flowers by transporting pollen from one flower to another. While they are drinking nectar their feet are collecting pollen. Our hands collected lots of "pollen" from the cheetos! We learned butterfly wings are symmetrical and did finger paint on a folded piece of paper then folded it over and transfered the design to the other side.
